Jean-Marc Joffroy, boostHEAT’s Managing Director and co-founder alongside Luc Jacquet, will be part of the delegation of company directors accompanying the French President François Hollande during his official trip to China on 2 and 3 November.
One of the purposes of this visit is for François Hollande to launch, alongside his Chinese counterpart President Xi Jinping, a call for the success of the COP 21 World Climate Conference scheduled to take place from 30 November at the Bourget site near Paris. During a press conference held on 7 September 2015, the President himself announced that :
“China will no doubt be a major stakeholder when leading a country that not only is the most populated but also one of the most polluted in the world, so it may become an example that other countries can follow. I will travel to China at the beginning of November to launch a call alongside President Xi Jinping, so the Climate Conference may be a success.“
China published its contribution to the COP 21 conference on 30 June 2015. It identified three major objectives:
Yet energy efficiency and thermodynamic wastage are at the heart of boostHEAT’s technology: the company’s teams have developed and industrialised a new generation of thermodynamic boilers for heat, domestic hot water and air conditioning purposes, aimed at residential, collective and service sector buildings. Based on patented thermal compressor technology, the equipment range developed by boostHEAT will provide natural gas with a thermal output of up to 200%.
As a reminder, boostHEAT had already accompanied François Hollande during an official trip in February 2014 to Silicon Valley in California (USA), which aimed to highlight France’s interest in innovative companies and start-ups.
