boostHEAT and GrDF were awarded the gold medal for the 2015 World Building Innovation Awards

The Awards Ceremony was held in the Grand Paris International Workshop premises on 28 September, and the winners of the 2015 World Building Innovation Awards were announced. This year, the World Building Show encompassed the Batimat, Interclima+Elec and Idéobain fairs.

This competition, organised every two years, rewards innovative solutions that herald the building trends of the future. This year, the 2015 edition announced 29 winners and awarded 8 special distinctions.

boostHEAT was one of the winners, having competed alongside its partner GrDF in the “Systems that use Renewable Energy” category: boostHEAT and GrDF won the gold medal.

Indeed, boostHEAT has developed and industrialised a new generation of thermodynamic boilers for heat, domestic hot water and air conditioning purposes, aimed at residential, collective and service sector buildings. Based on patented thermal compressor technology, the equipment range developed by boostHEAT will provide natural gas with a thermal output of up to 200%.

Luc Jacquet, boostHEAT’s Managing Director and co-founder alongside Jean-Marc Joffroy, states that:

“Our thermodynamic boiler uses a CO2 heat pump that enables us to halve energy consumption at a given operating level, in comparison with current condensing boilers.”

For boostHEAT, the World Building Innovation Awards are the first step before attending the 2015 Interclima+Elec Fair, held at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre from 2 to 6 November 2015. Come and visit us in Hall 1, Stand D113.
